Andre Chiang, an extraordinarily gifted baritone, will perform at the 97th VFMC Convention to be held at the Holiday Inn-Tanglewood in Roanoke, Virginia and will perform in concert on Friday, April 27 at 8:30 p.m.
This commanding young singer possesses an enormous repertoire which spans the gamut of vocal music, and he has performed widely on stage and in concert across the country. Mr. Chiang earned a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of South Alabama and holds a Master of Music Degree from the Manhattan School of Music. Along with juggling innumerable upcoming engagements, Mr. Chiang is currently working toward a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Vocal Performance at Louisiana State University where he studies with Dennis Jesse.

Hello Club Presidents,
I just wanted to send a reminder of the date and place of our 2018 VFMC convention. It is a different date than usual and we need to make sure we let everyone know that the convention is April 26-28 in Roanoke. More information will follow soon via the Official Call.
Plans are being formulated to have a busy, but inspiring meeting. We will hear music from the Maestro of the Roanoke Symphony, David Willey. We will have a program from an outstanding musician, Jonathan Romeo, concerning Appalachian Music. Junior musicians will delight you with their talent, and much more. Of course you will want to let everyone know of your club by the displays that will be shown during the convention.
We decided that the banquet on Friday night will be semi-formal. Our young artist, Andre Chiang, will bring the recital after the banquet.
I look forward in seeing everyone Thursday morning about 11:00 (except those that have a meeting at 8:30)
