Article VIII - Departments and Committees

SECTION 1

The work of the Virginia Federation of Music Clubs (VFMC) shall be divided into departments as created by the National Federation of Music Clubs.

SECTION 2

The work of the Federation shall be carried on through the medium of committees. These committees shall be grouped according to the work included under each department.

SECTION 3

There shall be a Chair appointed by the President for each Department and each Committee within one month after the Annual Convention. The Chair shall conduct the work of their respective departments and committees and shall make a written report at each session of the Board of Directors and at the Convention.

SECTION 4

Department and Committee Chairs shall be eligible to serve in the same capacity for more than two (2) consecutive terms.
