The annual 2022 VFMC Spring Convention has been canceled. The decision was based on feedback from the entire Board of Directors (Officers, District Directors, Club Presidents, and Chairs). In order to make the convention cost effective, we needed to have about 35 members stay at the hotel and partake in the meal plans, and we had just a little over half who planned to meet this requirement. Although we all would like to get together for this event, the uncertainty of the current pandemic continues to influence our decisions to meet safely and without concerns. We are looking at the possibility of holding a virtual meeting in its place, so that we can conduct the current business of the VFMC and plan for next year. Information on the Mary Smart Finals will be forthcoming once decisions are made by the chair, Lisa Thomas.

I hope to hold a fall board meeting and look forward to attending each of your district meetings in the fall.
